Upcoming Meetings
The WSGRTA Membership Meeting and Legislative Breakfast will be held on February 9 & 10, 2010 at the Phoenix Inn in Olympia. MEMBERSHIP MEETING | FEBRUARY 9 @ 7 pm
Our regular membership meeting will be held at 7 p.m. to conduct regular business. Light dessert items and beverages will be served during this meeting.
LEGISLATIVE BREAKFAST | FEBRUARY 10 @ 7 am
The focus of this year's Legislative Breakfast is our 2010 Legislative Agenda. We hope to have three or four speakers and the breakfast will conclude no later than 9 a.m.
Senator Mary Margaret Haugen
Senator Haugen is the current Senate Transportation Committee Chair. She has served in the State Senate since 1993 and previously served in the House of Representatives from 1982 to 1992; Senator Haugen also served as the Joint Transportation Committee co-chair and attended the National Conference of State Legislatures Transportation Committee. Senator Haugen is married to Basil Badley, and is a lifetime resident of Camano Island.
Representative Judy Clibborn
Representative Clibborn is the House Transportation Committee Chair. She previously served as Mercer Island Mayor and Councilwoman, and Executive Director of the Mercer Island Chamber of Commerce. She has a BS / RN from the University of Washington and worked at Harborview Medical Center. Representative Clibborn has been a Mercer Island resident for 32 years and is married with three adult children.
